Introduction:
5-Star Community Staffing is hiring Tower Climber & Maintenance Technicians for temporary and gig-based assignments. This role is critical in maintaining and repairing telecommunication, broadcasting, and utility towers to ensure uninterrupted network services.

Job Overview:
The Tower Climber & Maintenance Technician is responsible for climbing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing towers and communication equipment. This position requires working at extreme heights, following strict safety protocols, and ensuring equipment is properly installed and functioning.

Responsibilities:
Climb and work on telecommunications, broadcasting, and utility towers.

Install, maintain, and repair antennas, fiber-optic cables, and other communication equipment.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on tower structures.

Identify and troubleshoot signal, transmission, or electrical issues.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, FCC, and site-specific safety protocols.

Assist in tower construction, modifications, and structural reinforcements.

Maintain accurate service records, reports, and equipment logs.

Work Environment:
Tower Climber & Maintenance Technicians work outdoors at elevated heights, often in remote locations. Work may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions, high winds, and electrical equipment.

Schedule and Hours:
Temporary and gig-based assignments with flexible schedules.

May require overtime, overnight shifts, and emergency response availability.

Tools and Equipment Provided:
Climbing gear, harnesses, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.

Specialized tools for installation and maintenance supplied on-site.

Safety and Compliance:
Strict adherence to OSHA, FCC, and industry safety regulations.

Participation in mandatory fall protection and tower safety training.

Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and climbing gear.
