5-Star Community Staffing is hiring a Master Electrician for temporary and gig-based assignments in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role is ideal for experienced electricians who can lead electrical projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide expert-level troubleshooting and maintenance.
Job Overview:
The Master Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards. They will also supervise apprentices and junior electricians, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with all local electrical codes.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and control panels.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
Diagnose electrical problems and provide effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local building regulations.
Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior electricians.
Perform electrical system testing and inspections.
Work with clients, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure project completion.
Work Environment:
Master Electricians work in construction sites, industrial plants, commercial buildings, and residential properties. Work may require climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy materials.
Schedule and Hours:
Temporary, gig-based roles with flexible hours.
May require overtime, weekend, or emergency call-out availability.
